2026 UtahBasketball.net Boys Basketball Player rankings
I took a stab at a preliminary list of players in the 2026 class and ranked them as best I could to start the year. Please note…this is going to be very fluid and could change regularly at the beginning. Mostly because I have never seen most of the incoming national school players and also because these aren’t just my opinion, I have a group of people I’m asking to give thoughts on these rankings as well…also the backend database seems to be a bit finicky and already crashed once and I had to redo it all 😅
This may be very short lived as I’m not a website builder and I’m building the code for the site all on my own…how’s that for some confidence?!
You’ll see there are various filters you can play around with if you choose. UHSAA simply means, players on teams who could win a state championship. I realize both Wasatch Academy and LCA are part of UHSAA, but they play national schedules so I put their players on the national list.
This is my first real attempt at this and I used Loveable to program the site, so there are probably going to be errors or omissions. If there’s a player I’m missing, please comment on this post on Substack. Don’t send me DM’s on IG or X please. I’d like to grow my Substack page a bit more and that helps me out a lot. I tried to make the Substack login work for the rankings site but haven’t been able to figure that out yet…sorry!
What’s the point to this? More content and coverage I suppose? I started this project a few weeks ago while learning how to “vibe code” whatever that actually means
Players and parents, don’t sweat the beginning stages of the rankings. They will adjust early and often. And also…you’re defined by the work you put in, the network you build, and not the number on a random internet site (which is rankings.utahbasketball.net :)
So give it a spin! Give me your feedback here…IG and X DM’s about these rankings will be ignored. Not because I don’t like you, but because I’d prefer to engage here and if you’re sending me stuff there about these rankings then I know you either didn’t read this or….you don’t believe enough in your opinion/information to share it publicly. Either one means I’m not sure I can trust your take!
But I do want your feedback!
